Accessibility

John Menzies plc is committed to ensuring their website is accessible to a wide range of visitors. We strive to comply with the majority of the Priority 2 accessibility checkpoints from the W3C.

Our site has the following accessibility features:

  • The site has two layouts depending on the screen resolution you use. The site should either display in 800x600 or 1024x768 layout. If you wish to change this simply use the 'Screen size' link at the top-right of all pages.
  • Text can be resized as normal using your web browser, but you can also do so using the handy text size links at the top-right of all pages. Simply select either the small, medium or large text size and this will be remembered for your next visit.
  • The site has been designed with CSS which means the style is seperated from the content. This helps allow visitors to easier control the look and feel if, for example, the text size is not large enough. There is also a print version of the site powered by CSS which makes it easy to print copies of pages without the clutter of the navigation system.

Access Keys

Most screen readers and modern browsers support jumping to certain links within a page via keybaord combinations. On Windows this can be achieved via ALT + the access key (you also need to press return or enter on Internet Explorer). On Macs this can be achieved via CTRL + the access key.

The following access keys have been set up to help jump to popular sections of the John Menzies site.
